There are just some times that you would like to lash out against the world. But then you feel like you're this tiny, infinitesimal thing that cannot even make a ripple in a great river....the feeling of hopelessness is just so overwhelming. its like being caught up in an unending vicious cycle, or trying to struggle when you are held at the neck by knife-point or being trapped in a mine that has caved-in and there is no escape...running out of air and no hope for rescue...

damn it!!!!for crying out loud!!!!!oh Lord, give me reprieve!

This group, the Slayers is a pretty interesting set. From the left is Amelia Wil Tesla Saillune, princess of Saillune and incorrigible defender of justice and peace. An accomplished sorceress of white magic with some surprising offensive attacks too like rah tilt and elmekia lance. Next we have Gourry Gabriev, a highly skilled swordsman, wielder of the Sword of Light (Gorun Nova) and hehe, protector and Lina's significant other...(I prefer to think romantically of it, what can i say?) Apparently our handsome guy here ran away from home taking thwir family heirloom the Sword of Light. One thing that is just so exasperating about him is that he is soooo simple minded or...just plain dumb!!!!! Well, that makes his character just so lovable. All brawn and no brain (sigh). Next in line is Lina Inverse, Bandit Killer, Dragon SPooker...but an extraordinary 15 or 16 yr old girl with so much magic potential, able to call upon the chaotic power of the Lord of Nightmares and cast a Giga slave. A witty girl with smart aleck remarks, eats a lot (a lot is an understatement, i think), and well, also a destroyer of worlds. That black magic of hers blows up the place and pretty much creates a crater in place of a town. Figure that. Next, Zelgadiss Graywords, a chimera, talented sorcerer, skilled swordsman and prefers to be called a heartless dark magician. The most serious one in the group, cant pull him down to silliness except when the claire bible is involved. And then we have Great Beastmaster Xellos, apparently the strongest mazoku after the Mazoku Lords. Pretty impressive for someone who has a happy disposition and keeps his eyes closed to depict a jolly manner. But then, his reputation preceeds him, coz when he opens those eyes, any trace of the jolly Xellos is nowhere in sight. His opened eyes would show his true nature, capable of ruthless and indiscriminate destruction. He is also known as the "Dragon Slayer" in the War of the Monsters Fall (I think that is how you call that war).

Whew! thats a little too much! Nonetheless, reading about them would definitely spike your interest.

interesting love story

I'm just getting caught up in the love story between gourry and lina. this definitely shows in their season 2 series. they are going against Gaav, the Demon Dragon King who is infinitely more powerful than they are! Apparently the spell Gaav Flare came from this Mazoku (monster race). Later on, they find themselves faced up with the strongest of the Mazoku lords, Hellmaster Phibrizzo. Lina fought him with the Giga Slave where the Lord of Nightmares (the creator of the mazoku race) herself went down from some abyss where she currently resides and well, just disintegrated Phibrizzo without batting an eyelash. When it was time for payback and since Lina sacrificed herself, she was being carried off to oblivion, gourry came for her and followed her. fastforward...they got reunited and KISSED! awwww!!!

I dreamt that I have lost my special someone because of some sickness...I've never felt so overwhelmed with so much sorrow...and so much grief...

I woke up...took a very deep breath...tried to calm myself, telling my heart and my mind to stop despairing because it wasnt real...it was just a dream.

It was so hard to convince myself, my mind kept repeating what if...I just simply cried...

i feel so trapped and held by the neck...
